Just recently finished a halfyear long school project where we could do whatever we wanted to. So, I chose to make a teaser for a comic/illustrated novelle I've been working on inside my head for a long, long while. I don't want to give too much away (mainly because it's a loooooooooong story and because I'd like to be a bit secretive about this) but I can tell you that it's a story where we follow two persons, one a dead kenshi (swordsman) in Yomi (the japanese name for the underworld) who's trying to get back to the land of the living, aided by a serpent, killing his way to it and the other a woman in the land of the living trying to find a way to return her love to life, aided by a fox spirit. The story's a mix of Romeo & Juliet, Blade of the Immortal, Sandman and Hellboy with strong relations to both Japanese history and mythology. It features blood, magic, mythological creatures, katanas and a wicked, non-Hollywood-ish story.
